Changes to my study programme

Hello every one this is my last blog and I’m going to explain my career which is social work and what would I change. I really like that the program of my career in the university of Chile is very wide about the contents, I have courses of sociology, psychology, philosophy, history, economy, etc. I like this because personally I love social sciences and I think that to resolve some social problems we have to know all this concepts, theories, visions, etc. But I also would like to modify a little bit this and include some courses related to problems in the real life and not just analyzing theories in the classroom. I would like the program to be with more practical courses. I think that is important to know what we are going to deal in the futures jobs.

Regarding to the workload I thing is very hard, the university should be more personalized with the students, and understand some special cases, like some students that works or have daughters or sons. The university  should give them more facilities. About the buildings, for me it’s not a problem, I think we have the enough space to study, work and spend free time.

The teaching methods are good, I think the teachers knows a lot and give us space to express our opinion, but I would like that some teachers would be more organized, In this the program should be clearer and more precise. And the last thing it’s about technology, I think now in the quarantine the classes have been accessible to everyone.
